as christmas approaches

I am beginning to see how blessed I am for everything in my life. two wonderful parents who have done a phenomenal job at raising me. my best friends who are there for anything and will not judge. a boyfriend who I can tell anything and everything to and be completely comfortable around. I can push him to the end and he still accepts me (considering the pain I am). I'm thankful for lots of things in my life and I'm ready to embrace it all and love everyone this new year. including my Marine friends who put their life on the line for us. :)

gosh this candle smells weird yet delightful. haha I want to buy a whole bunch, but that's no quite practical now is it? I'm writing this blog post as I get ready for bed. kind of. haha I still need to take my make up off and take my contacts out. wow, these past couple of weeks have been hella crazy. This year is coming to an end and I can barely believe that it's Christmas. I'm still so unsure of my major. as many know I'm currently a psychology major. I'm thinking of the following: staying as a psychology major, double majoring in psychology and criminal justice, or major in nursing. haha no one expected the nursing. I'd specialize in something though. I still have a couple more semesters to decide since I'm still knocking out my general ed. anyway, just something to update you guys on. haha. I love San Diego :) <3

haha, I'm looking at cute bumper stickers for USMC girlfriend stuff.. here are some of my favorite. lol I love Marine's pride ;) it's cute. oh and don't ever mistake them for soldiers. ask any Marine and they are WARRIORS. there was a quote that stuck out to me that I LOVE.
"some heroes wear capes, my hero wears combat boots." OORAH. :D
can't wait for my Marine to come home & I am starting to prepare myself for my first deployment. well his deployment, and my waiting. haha.

Goals

Since the end of my junior year in high school I have become less motivated. I loved school my sophomore year and got amazing grades. I stopped trying and still got amazing grades, well I'm kind of hurting now. haha, I know. so for next year, here are some new goals..my best friend, Ashley and I have made a blog dedicated for our goals.


1. FOCUS on school and actually put MORE effort and STUDY harder.
2. Eat out less.
3. Spend money wisely. 
4. Write a lot to my boyfriend, who will be deployed in a few months.
5. Keep my room Marine clean :D haha!
6. Brush things off a bit more.
7. Go to the gym more..lol.


I'm quite sure more will come up as the year progresses.

A S H L E Y.
We met at our student retreat. I was kinda skeptical about going, but I have met some of the most amazing people at our retreat. Ashley and I bonded with Titanic quotes at about 2 in the morning and giggled until we fell asleep. We all have skeleton in our closets and she has not judged any of the skeletons in mine. We're practically bad influences to each other. We're there for each other when we fall. She's been there through my first breakdown and I'm there through her anxiety. When one of us is having a bad day, so is the other. We hate people at the same time and she knows how I get down and dirty. She knows my secrets. She's there to back me up when I'm pissed. She's my right hand. When she's upset I make her laugh. We take naps together and they're lovely. We plan to marry Marines. Hopefully. Hahah. I want her to be in my wedding. 


I would do anything for her and she knows this. She appreciates it too and I love it. She lets me know too, she says she appreciates what I do for her. I appreciate everything she has done and will continue to do. I know I'm not alone, I have someone who I can text everything to. As I write about her it kinda makes me tear up to know that I have been blessed with such an amazing friend. I'm proud to call her my best friend. Someone I can confide in and someone that who doesn't judge after knowing what she knows. I feel alive again for the first time in a long time. She's here to stay. We come in a package. Can't have me without having her in your life. Sorry fellas ;)

I hate my mood swings..

lol. I'm watching "Valentine's Day", and I am loving it. haha. such a cute movie..
Watched Saw with my friend, Ashley. We watched Saw I, II and III. She watched the first one n then we got distracted on the II and III one, haha. I guess I have to watch the IV on my own :(

Midterms are coming up! Gotta study.
such a busy day tomorrow.. have to finished cleaning up this room, drop off some movies, work and wash my car. haha.
